As an Associate Director in EICA Engineering, you will play a key role in business development and engineering on transformational programs for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on high-profile projects across various sectors including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide comprehensive engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We have opportunities available in our Birmingham, Surrey, and Bristol offices, with consideration for other locations.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage teams undertaking technical design work adhering to relevant standards and quality levels.
* Define project briefs, scopes, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage project timelines and budgets to meet milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Establish quality assurance standards in design processes.
* Develop and grow ICA engineering capabilities within the practice.
What You Bring:
* Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
* Experience in managing design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
* Expertise in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control, system architecture, communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practices, functional safety, control specifications (URS/FDS), and system requirements in process/industrial environments.
* In-depth knowledge of UK design standards, practices, and guidance.
