Your impact
In this newly created role, you will be an integral part of a growing team supporting the ever‑increasing global demand for energy and water. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help our clients design, build and maintain energy and water pipeline systems worldwide. You will also grow a technical practice area with our global group and attract and mentor additional staff as required.
Responsibilities
* Design of HDD installations and micro tunnelling
* Prepare and review technical reports, data reports and baseline reports
* Complete engineering analysis and prepare design calculations
* Prepare design drawings and construction specifications
* Share technical knowledge across geographical boundaries to foster innovative project solutions
* Drive ownership of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments
Here’s what you’ll need
* Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering Degree
* Management of design assignments in HDD, including analysis of installation and operational stresses in the pipeline, equipment and easement requirements, geologic processes and rig operational requirements will contribute to your success
* Experience with design and construction projects as well as field soil and rock classification
* Experience of developing and participating in field assignments, including observation of explorations (soil and rock, test pits, CPT probes, geophysical testing) and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring
* Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (C.Eng MICE)
* Established field construction experience with HDD operations
* Design assignment experience in pipe jacking and tunnelling
