Our client is looking for a dedicated Research Associate to support Weed Control Research Biology on the Secondary Profiling Screen (SPS) platform. What You'll Do:
Conduct Experiments: Work independently and collaboratively with the Trialling Operations team to execute experimental work using both established and innovative weed screening methods.
Maintain Glasshouse Conditions: Be responsible for the care and maintenance of plants throughout the duration of tests in a glasshouse setting.
Precision and Accountability: Ensure all tasks are performed with high precision, accuracy, and efficiency.
Safety First: Adhere to the organisation's Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy in all activities.
Team Player: Thrive in a high-throughput environment, supporting your colleagues and contributing to team goals.
Identify and Report Issues: Proactively identify problems or non-conformities and report them in a timely manner.
Data Management: Keep accurate records and ensure databases are current and comprehensive.

Continuous Improvement: Show initiative in improving workflows and processes on the screening platform.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Background: A BSc Degree or A levels with relevant experience in plant biology, weed control, or agronomy.
Technical Skills: Entry-level knowledge of laboratory techniques and proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
