We are seeking amitted and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support KS2 children across all year groups in a friendly,munity focused primary school in the WV14 area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping children achieve their best through tailored support, positive encouragement, and collaborative teamwork within the classroom.You’ll work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted interventions, provide 1:1 and small group support, and help maintain an engaging learning environment that enables every child to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support KS2 children across Years 3–6, adapting approaches to meet diverse learning needs
2. Deliver small group and 1:1 intervention sessions
3. Assist teachers with classroom preparation, activities, and behaviour support
4. Promote children’s confidence, independence, and engagement
5. Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive, inclusive learning culture
6. Provide tailored support for children with additional learning needs
What We’re Looking For:
7. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
8. Experience supporting KS2 children (preferred)
9. A calm, encouraging and proactive approach
10. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills
11. Strong understanding of child development and primary curriculum basics
