Protocol Education are recruiting graduates and candidates with transferable skills to work in Special Schools and Pupil Referral Units across Northumberland.

Successful candidates will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils aged 11–18. Roles are available immediately on a day-to-day basis, with many long-term opportunities for the right individuals. Typically, candidates are required 3–5 days per week.

We welcome applications from graduates as well as those with relevant transferable experience, such as Youth Workers, Police or Military personnel, Sports Coaches, or Care Workers. Personal experience supporting SEND or managing challenging behaviour within family settings will also be considered.

Successful candidates will:

* Have a confident, friendly, and patient approach

* Be motivated to engage and inspire disengaged learners

* Hold an updated DBS or be willing to obtain one

* Have the legal right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
