CBRE Data Centre Solutions (DCS) is a global business line within CBRE dedicated to providing fully integrated real estate, facilities, and technology solutions for data centre owners, occupiers, and investors. We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be based at a static commercial site and will involve providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and electrical support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent fault‑finding abilities, hold all relevant qualifications, and be capable of working independently to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Upgrading lighting systems to LED throughout the site, efficiently diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, carrying out necessary repairs and small‑scale installations, performing electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial systems, and ensuring adherence to all current electrical regulations and safety standards.
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance requirements, maintain accurate records of all work performed and any remedial actions taken, and collaborate effectively with site management and other trades to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
* Recognized electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent, along with a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
* Proven experience working as an electrician within a commercial environment, with strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
* Solid understanding of health and safety practices, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Calm under pressure, confident in making decisions and taking action, and able to motivate and work through others.
