Senior National Account Manager – Foodservice

Home-based (UK – England focus)


The Opportunity

If you’re a commercially driven Foodservice NAM/SNAM looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact, this is it.

This is a chance to step into a high‑autonomy position within a growing, premium branded food business, where you’ll inherit an existing customer base but be given full scope to open doors, win new business, and shape the future of the UK foodservice channel.


Company

You’ll be joining a privately owned, fast-growing food business with a turnover of c.£30m and a strong reputation across both the UK and Irish markets.

Operating within the premium convenience food sector, the business has built its success around delivering high‑quality branded products, focused on clean ingredients, gluten‑free innovation, and standout taste.

With over 10 years of trading in the UK and established relationships across key wholesalers and distributors, the foundations are firmly in place for the next phase of growth. The culture is entrepreneurial, agile, and quality‑led, ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and accountability.


The Role

This is a Senior National Account Manager position focused on accelerating growth within UK foodservice.

* Build on existing business with national (Bidfood) and regional wholesalers
* Open and develop new trading relationships with major national accounts (Brakes & Booker)
* Drive growth across key end‑user channels, including: Restaurant groups, QSR chains, Contract catering Education & healthcare

Working with a strong, differentiated branded proposition, you’ll be responsible for driving both distribution and brand presence across the market.

This is a new business‑led role with real backing, giving you the platform to make a visible impact while leveraging an already credible market presence.


Requirements

We’re looking for someone who combines strong relationships with real commercial drive:

* Currently operating as a NAM or Senior NAM within foodservice
* Strong understanding and a history of working with Brakes & Bidfood
* Proven track record of winning and developing new business
* Experience of gaining business with End User customers
* Experience working with branded food products (preferred)
* Comfortable working in a home‑based, autonomous role
* Driven, proactive, and motivated by growth opportunities
* Experience within chilled, frozen or value‑added food categories would be advantageous.


Salary & Location

Home based role covering the English foodservice market, with regular customer visits and monthly travel to head office in Northern Ireland.
