OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To support the delivery of a comprehensive Global Mobility (GM) strategy across the EMEA region. Work collaboratively across various teams and with external service providers to ensure the smooth running of operational processes, supporting the business and its globally mobile employees and new hires. Seek to continually improve all processes and the quality of output from the team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Accountable for end-to-end GM services & processes for mobile employees, ensuring a positive experience for individuals and managers at both the home and host locations.
* Build, develop, and maintain good relationships with key business unit leaders and colleagues.
* Manage daily relationships with external providers, including assignment services, immigration, and tax, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
* Introduce, maintain, and develop the GM framework and policies.
* Understand market trends and best practices in GM, communicate opportunities, and implement improvements.
* Stay informed about legislation changes related to GM, such as tax and immigration, and plan accordingly.
* Support the wider People team with requirements related to EMEA immigration Sponsor Licences.
* Support and embed GM development as the business expands.
* Identify, advise on, and manage risks, compliance, and reporting related to GM and globally mobile employees.
* Manage annual GM processes and projects, such as compliance and compensation.
* Support processes owned by other teams, e.g., expenses.
* Lead, advise, and support specific country and regional GM projects as appropriate.
Middle East HR Admin
* Serve as the primary HR contact for teams and leaders across the Middle East.
* Provide advice on policy interpretation and local employment legislation.
* Support the implementation of global HR programs with regional alignment.
* Lead or contribute to regional HR projects.
* Manage and resolve employee issues fairly and consistently, with support from HRBP, EMEA.
* Provide administrative support for HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
* Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files and HRIS data.
* Prepare letters and documentation in accordance with company policy and local laws.
* Support HR initiatives and compliance processes in collaboration with the HRBP and wider team.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
* Deep understanding of global mobility strategy, policy, and operations across various organizations.
* Experience with GM/employment taxes, preferably from a professional services firm.
* Highly numerate and analytical.
* Excellent oral and written English skills.
* High level of computer literacy.
