Travel Retail Fragrance & Beaute Field Training Manager
Location: Field Based UK & Ireland Airports
Reports to: Training and Development Manager
Contract: Maternity Cover – Full time, Fixed Term contract, Jan 2026 – 12 Months

Your role @Chanel:
The Field Training Manager is tasked to proactively and reactively ensure our retail staff have the skillsets and product knowledge to consistently deliver an exceptional experience to our clients. Maintain an active presence in stores, observe subsequent implementation and ensure consistent retention of knowledge.
The impact you will create at Chanel:
1. To represent the Training Department in delivering training events in collaboration with the Academy Team & wider departments, such as the annual Consultant Atelier, as well as other event programmes as required
2. Drive commercial and business performance and elevate client experience as an expert across all product categories. As part of this you will lead a culture of in-store coaching & build individual coaching plans in collaboration with management
3. To work in collaboration with Head of Sales, Retail Development Managers and Academy Training team to identify and implement learning opportunities for BA’s. To analyse information from various sources and manage the training for stores in line with business and training priorities
4. To work in collaboration with the Academy Training team as required, acting as a conduit directly from the retail population and environment, sharing insights from the field to support in shaping strategy and training curriculum
5. To follow up on academy training moments within Retail doors through strategic and personalised follow up plans whilst managing and monitoring the quality and impact
6. To create compelling blended learning resources for in-store training in response to identified needs, ensuring that these materials are of a high standard using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
7. Act as a digital learning champion in store, in addition you will create and adapt digital learning modules on Inside Beauty to further support BA learning pre, during and post-classroom training
8. Maintain a strong field training team presence across all divisions by sharing best practice, peer to peer learning, regular meetings and collaboration, to manage constant level of client experience across all points of sale
9. Work with a wide variety of people from other Departments and foster collaborative working relationships across the business

17. Strong analytical skills in order to analyse qualitative data via RDM’s and also review impact of training and coaching that has been delivered and adapt accordingly
18. Provide a proactive and positive introduction to the brand for all New Starters, embedding learning culture from day one
19. Identify and support talent development within the BA community.
20. To be confident to manage time effectively creating a journey plan that will maximise the impact of each visit and create reports to detail the outcomes of each visit, including the impact
21. To support in building the learning culture within the Training Department – offering coaching and mentorship to new and junior members of the team
22. Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
23. Valid UK Drivers license
