Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer who is electrically biased to work on Mitie's NHS blood account carrying out electrical safety checks, planned and reactive maintenance and repairs. The required candidate will report directly to the contracts manager and be the first response to our client to assist in all issues arising, they will be responsible for maintaining SLA performance throughout the region by reviewing daily reports set up from the CAFM system, attend client faced meetings where applicable and also assist in the day to day duties of the other engineers.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical safety checks and planned and reactive maintenance and repairs on Mitie's NHS blood account.
* Report directly to the contracts manager and act as the first response to the client for all arising issues.
* Maintain SLA performance throughout the region by reviewing daily reports from the CAFM system.
* Attend client‑faced meetings where applicable.
* Assist in the day‑to‑day duties of the other engineers.
* Work to high levels of health and safety, understand and comply with building statutory requirements.
* Ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventive maintenance programme.
Qualifications
* Full, current driving licence.
* IT literate for record keeping.
* Good customer service skills.
* Physically able to carry out the full duties detailed in the job description.
* Background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar.
* Qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds 2330 or equivalent.
* Hold a NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition.
* 2391 test and inspection is a benefit.
