We are now seeking a driven and customer‑centred Sales Manager to lead our Nissan franchise in Portadown.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for sales management, and the ability to motivate and develop team members. As a sales manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, implementing effective strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service.


Duties

* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
* Manage and supervise the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
* Monitor sales metrics and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
* Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills of team members in sales techniques and product knowledge.
* Communicate effectively with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
* Build strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Lead recruitment efforts for new sales staff, ensuring the right talent is brought on board.


Skills

* Proven experience in sales management or retail management is essential.
* Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with diverse audiences.
* Experience in supervising teams and fostering a collaborative work environment is crucial.

Working closely with other managers, you will play an integral part in helping the business achieve monthly and quarterly objectives.

* Experience in working with DMS (Dealer management systems)

* Extensive knowledge of the motor industry

Working Hours

Monday - Friday: 08.45-17.30pm & one late night (Tuesday or Thursday to 8pm). Alternate Saturdays: 09.00am - 15.00pm. With a day in lieu each month.


Salary

Competitive salary plus potential to earn performance related bonuses.
