We are seeking an experienced and driven Dental Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a premium private dental practice. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will balance exceptional patient experience, team development, and strong commercial performance.
This position goes beyond operations — we’re looking for a credible leader with emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to inspire high-performing teams.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will:
5. Lead overall practice performance across people, patient experience, and commercial outcomes
6. Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, setting clear expectations and accountability
7. Monitor and drive key KPIs including chair utilisation, treatment conversion, revenue, and patient satisfaction
8. Work closely with clinicians and Treatment Coordinators to optimise the patient journey
9. Oversee diary management to maximise productivity while maintaining a premium experience
10. Ensure ongoing CQC compliance and regulatory readiness
11. Manage budgets, stock control, and cost efficiency
12. Handle patient feedback and complaints with professionalism and care
13. Identify operational improvements and implement effective solutions
14. Support local growth through marketing and community engagement
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills:
15. Proven experience as a Practice Manager within a UK private dental setting
16. Strong people management experience, including performance management and team development
17. Commercially aware, with experience managing KPIs and financial performance
18. Confident leadership style — able to motivate, challenge, and develop teams
19. Highly organised, structured, and solutions-focused
20. Strong understanding of CQC compliance
21. Patient-centred approach with excellent communication skills
Desirable:
22. Corporate background with experience running a practice end-to-end
23. Dental qualification or clinical background
24. Formal management or leadership training
25. Experience improving treatment conversion and patient journey performance
