As a Family Support Worker, you will work directly with children and their families to promote well-being, improve attendance, and foster strong partnerships between home and school. You will play a key role in: promoting the inclusion of all children, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop supporting a culture of curiosity, kindness, and high expectations across the school community encouraging strong relationships between home and school championing regular school attendance and positive engagement acting as an Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead liaising with external agencies and leading on safeguarding processes when required. We are looking for someone who: has experience working with children, families, or in an education setting is confident in working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children has a working understanding of confidentiality, professional boundaries, and child protection.
