Job Function / Summary
Provides technical direction and support in developing business systems software and procedures. Responsible for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex projects involving a sizable group of users. The role may specialize in one or more areas, detailed in the 'Specialties' section.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Plans and conducts analyses of complex and unique business systems projects.
2. Devises new data sources and develops innovative approaches and techniques.
3. Reviews computer technology developments applicable to systems design and prepares long-range forecasts.
4. Studies broad work processes that cut across organizational information systems.
5. Acts as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on business systems projects.
6. Determines and resolves problems with other systems analysts, programmers, and users.
7. Maintains, develops, modifies, and documents programs according to specifications and guidelines.
8. Provides guidance to lower-level programmers and specialists.
9. Consults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine programming requirements.
10. Revises existing programs to increase efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
11. Trains entry-level coworkers in programming and coding.
12. Analyzes and documents system requirements based on client needs and objectives.
13. Researches and evaluates software and hardware options.

* A. Web Specialist: .Net, SharePoint, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, Photoshop, Visual Basic, Argo, Crystal, ASP.NET, J#, C#, SQL, ODBC.
* B. Core Banking Systems Specialist: COBOL, CA-Easytrieve, JCL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, Banking Applications, API, RPI, Assembler.
* C. Electronic Delivery Specialist: COBOL, CA-Easytrieve, JCL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, Networking, Server, Tandem.
* D. Data Architect: TSQL, MDX, SQL Server, OLAP, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, SharePoint, Data Warehousing, OLTP, SQL, VB.NET/C#, SQL Profiler, Oracle.
* E. Business Intelligence Architect / OLAP Developer: Customer solutions, dashboards, scorecards, data visualization, SQL Server Reporting Services, PerformancePoint, deployment, Excel.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Minimum Education, Experience & Knowledge
* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
* At least 2 years of relationship management experience in banking products.
* Proficient in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and banking regulations.
