An excellent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a high Growth award winning Yorkshire based company at their Head office based on the outskirts Bradford. We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in managing the Accounts Payable function in a fast-paced environment.
* Key Responsibilities
* Accurately process and code purchase invoices
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain purchase ledger accounts and ensure timely payments
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
* Complete supply chain due diligence/onboarding and maintain approved supplier database
* Assist with month-end procedures and support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks including cost analysis and reporting
* Ensure compliance with AP policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
* About You
* Proven experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Big Change, Xero is highly desirable
* AAT qualification or working towards one would be an advantage
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to drive process improvements
