1.1. Description
Working with the leading manufacturer of Tyre Sealants, you will be placed at the front of our R&D initiatives, creating innovative products and problem-solving. Working for a family business operating since 1978, you will report directly to the business owner. The position is based in Lutterworth, UK. The role is available on a two-year basis and could be extended.
Salary
- £45,000 depending on experience
1.2. Tasks
The applicant will be expected to perform the following
core
tasks
* Analysis of ingredients and impact on product behaviour;
* Maintaining Formula Files and tracking prototypes;
* Performing lab testing;
* Producing Samples;
* Liaising and coordinating projects with third-party laboratories;
* Competitor Product analysis; and
* Practical testing on tyres and vehicles where necessary.
1.3. Skillset and Experience
* Hardworking and reliable;
* Self starter;
* Experienced problem solver;
* Must have Project leader experience and management skills;
* Ability to work independently and prioritise efficiently;
* Experienced in leading projects
* Fluent
in English communications skills; written and on the phone;
* IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook; and
* Pleasant and enthusiastic.
