Who We Are Founded in 1908 – just after the very first Scout camp Part of a 45 million strong global family in 200 countries Open to everyone – whatever your background, gender or ability Friendly, experienced leaders to guide and support you ️ We Meet in North Cheltenham near Sandford Park ️ Squirrels (ages 4–6) - Mondays Help little adventurers explore, play & grow! Become a Squirrel Scout Leader and spark curiosity every week. ️ Beavers (ages 6–8) - Saturdays ️ From crafts to campfires, guide Beavers on their first big adventures — and join the fun yourself! Cubs (ages 8–10½) - Wednesdays Take Cubs on wild adventures! From hikes to skills, help 8–10 year olds build confidence and friendships for life. ️ Scouts (ages 10½–14) - Mondays Inspire Scouts to push limits! Camping, climbing & challenges — guide young people to discover skills and independence. What You’ll Do Every week brings something new! Highlights from last year included: Glider flights over the Cotswolds Visits from police dogs, pilots, firefighters & refugees Cardboard boat racing down the Gloucestershire canals Birds of prey up close Behind-the-scenes at the Everyman Theatre Shooting sports: archery, rifles, axes… even snowballs! Trying new sports: American Football, Kendo, Croquet & more Relaxing yoga and mindfulness Classic Scouting adventures – campfires, fire-lighting & camping under the stars Why Volunteer?
