Position Overview
The Night Auditor ensures a smooth and secure overnight operation, welcoming guests and handling their needs from arrival to departure. They contribute to guest satisfaction through high-quality service while maintaining security and hotel procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests, manage check-in/out, and update records.
* Process guest transactions, including billing and cashiering.
* Perform night audits and financial reconciliations.
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently.
* Conduct security rounds and ensure hotel safety procedures are followed.
* Liaise with housekeeping on room status and lost property.
* Manage wake-up calls and distribute reports.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency protocols.
* Support training and development of team members.
Qualifications
* Education & Experience: Prior experience in a front office or night audit role preferred. Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) advantageous.
* Skills & Competencies: Strong customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in handling financial transactions and reports. Awareness of security and emergency protocols.
* Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Adherence to hotel grooming, performance, and conduct standards.

Role-specific responsibilities include:
* Providing guidance and support to the night team, managing hotel operations during the night shift.
* Undertaking night audits and corridor checks to ensure guest safety and hotel security.
* Being an autonomous, passionate individual confident in guest relations, including guests requiring special attention.
* Maintaining strong communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations between night and day shifts.
* Working as a duty manager when required.
