The Head of Manufacturing Execution & Laboratory Information Applications leads a dedicated team, focusing on delivering high-quality technical and business process solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing technology projects, optimizing operational processes, and leading development teams to achieve strategic business objectives in the area of Manufacturing Execution & Laboratory Information applications.
Efficient and high performing application operations for manufacturing and laboratory applications.
Delivery and Project Leadership: Develop and implement project plans that align with the organization's strategic goals. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to deployment and support.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of developers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for business & project stakeholders, including business units and IT leadership. Ensure transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet predefined standards and business requirements. Implement rigorous testing and QA processes to ensure the reliability and performance of solutions.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks. Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management plans to ensure smooth project execution.
Vendor and Resource Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards. Agile Methodology: Apply agile methodologies and principles to manage projects and deliver value quickly and efficiently. Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure the team adheres to agile best practices.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in application operations, with a focus on manufacturing and laboratory solutions.
Strong project management skills and successful project delivery track record.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.
Third party management capabilities.
Proficiency in risk management and change management.
A bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field. Itil 4, Prince 2 or SAFe CSP Certification is a plus.
Managing a global team involves dealing with different time zones, cultural differences, and varied regulatory environments.

Travel Requirements:
~ Up to 20% travel within Europe and Americas.
Languages:
English (speaking, reading and writing).
