We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector, with training provided, to join our team at Honeywell, in West Edinburgh, where you will conduct in-depth inspections on small electronic components used in radar and comms equipment, analyse data, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure compliance. This is not a full quality engineering role, but an inspection position.
This is a full time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern: Mondays - Thursdays 0825- 1705 and Fridays 0825-1320.

Key Responsibilities
In this entry level inspection role, you will work in a small and friendly team responsible for conduct visual and dimensional inspection of mental work and assembled project.
* Inspection of incoming and outgoing material
* Inspection using traditional inspection techniques for mechanical parts
* Inspection of WIP for issues identified
* Support Production and Engineering on Quality performance investigations
Key Skills and Qualifications
This is not a full quality engineering role.
* Full right to work in the UK without the need of sponsorship
* Lives within an easy commute to our West Edinburgh offices
* A recent qualification, such as degree, apprenticeship, HNC in metalwork, Manufacturing or similar OR a proven record of inspection using manual inspection techniques or CMM, previous Skills working within an Inspection environment
* Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination
