About the team

At Vintage Cash Cow, we believe people grow businesses. Our People Team is here to make that happen, bringing the strategy, tools, and support to help leaders unlock potential, build high‑performing teams, and shape a culture that reflects who we are and where we’re going. Whether it’s enabling brilliant basics or driving big, bold ideas, we’re partners to the business every step of the way.

About the Role

It’s an exciting time to join the People Team as we scale and evolve. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be a strategic advisor to leaders, translating business goals into people strategies that truly make a difference. From shaping team structures and championing performance, to driving engagement and supporting talent development, you’ll be right in the thick of it.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping them manage change, structure teams, and plan for future talent needs.
* Partner on performance and development initiatives, working with managers to set clear goals, give meaningful feedback, and develop career pathways.
* Collaborate with the Talent and L&D teams to align hiring and development with business needs.
* Use people data and insights to inform decisions, highlight trends, and report on key HR metrics.
* Support employee relations in a fair, consistent, and values‑driven way.
* Co‑create and implement people policies and initiatives that support a great employee experience.
* Drive engagement and culture projects within your business areas.
* Contribute to wider People Team goals and cross‑functional projects.

Key Skills and Experience

* Experience in a People Partner or HR Business Partner role, ideally in a fast‑paced or scaling business.
* Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
* Business savvy, with the ability to connect people strategy to commercial outcomes.
* Confident coaching and supporting managers at all levels.
* Excellent relationship builder and communicator—you know how to influence with credibility and empathy.
* Proactive problem‑solver with strong organisational and project management skills.
* Data‑literate, with experience using HR metrics to inform and shape decisions.
* CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent).

Equal Opportunities

At Vintage Trading Limited, we’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels heard, respected, and able to bring their authentic self to work. We believe that diversity fuels innovation, creativity, and success. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and we work hard to ensure equitable opportunities for all. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply; your unique skills and experiences might be exactly what we need now or in the future. If you need any adjustments or accommodations during the hiring process, just let us know and we’ll do our best to support you.
