Senior Engineer – Permanent Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading earthworks contractor on a permanent basis, working on the prestigious EKFB project in Aylesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Engineer looking to take ownership of engineering activities while leading and supporting a team of engineers on a major infrastructure project.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of three engineers and ensuring all engineering activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The successful Senior Engineer will be involved in:
* Managing and mentoring a team of engineers
* Carrying out and overseeing design reviews
* Technical approvals and technical queries
* Managing technical information and document control
* Ensuring accurate setting out and engineering records
* Reviewing engineering deliverables and site documentation
* Liaising with site management, designers, and client representatives
* Supporting project delivery across earthworks packages
* Ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality requirements
* Driving engineering best practice across the project
Requirements
To be considered for this Senior Engineer position, you should have:
* Previous experience working as a Senior Engineer within earthworks, civil engineering, or major infrastructure projects
* Valid EKFB Induction (essential)
* Strong understanding of engineering procedures and design management
* Experience leading or supervising engineering teams
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment
