Network Control Tower Administrator | Full time | Site Based | Burton-on-Trent DE14 2SY
THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity. Join us as a Network Control Tower Administrator within our Network Operations Team. The main purpose of the role is to successfully complete the booking in and administrating of consignments manifested to Amazon FC’s across the UK. You will also be responsible for the maintaining, distribution and development of the Network Performance weekly KPI’s whilst also providing support to the Network Operations field team.
THE SALARY
OFFICE BASED
Monday - Friday Days ( 30 min break).
You will be based in our flagship office in Burton (DE14 2SY).
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
* Manage queries into the team and ensure prompt, accurate and valuable response
* Ensure daily Amazon processes are adhered to, and key metrics are exceeded on bookings, load fill, timeliness of bookings etc.
* Maintain strong working relationships with all Amazon delivery depots and the wider network.
* Review exceptions log for ‘problem’ consignments
* Negotiating with Amazon to ensure bookings are fit for purpose
* Ensure handover process from planning to washup is completed every day
* Assist with production & maintenance of N etwork P erformance KPIs
* Assist with the production of data and information for the Network Team
* To carry out all your duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for your own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
* Any other ad hoc duties as and when required by the GM
* To be polite and professional at all times, being aware of the environment you work in.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Excel (Microsoft) Experience
* Polite and professional
* Able to work as an effective team player, supporting and recognising the need for support wherever appropriate and be able to work on own initiative.
* Build and maintain positive external relationships internally within the team, member depots and other Palletforce staff.
