CLASS 1 Day-shift Driver £17per hour based in Blantyre, Lanarkshire
Mon to Sun operation working any 5/7
Regular work, ongoing each week
** Full time and part time shifts available **
We are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-known haulage company in Lanarkshire.
The Role
* -You will be delivering general haulage loads to various locations throughout the UK
* Safely operate a HGV vehicleto transport goods to designated locations
* Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring the load is secured
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
The Person
* Proven experience as a commercial driver
* Valid LGV1 licence, CPC and digital tachograph card
* Maximum 6 points on licence, no DR,DD,IN,CD endorsements
* Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety
* Strong communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
