The Role
As a QTS Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about inspiring young learners, adaptable to different learning needs, and enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative school community.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
* Support children’s progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
* Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and inclusion.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.
* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
* Contribute to school activities, enrichment programmes, and wider initiatives.
* Ensure that safeguarding policies and practices are followed at all times.
Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
* A degree in Education or a related subject.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* A commitment to supporting the holistic development of pupils.
* The ability to inspire and motivate children of all abilities.
* Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
