Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: York
Hourly Rate: £35 per hour (Outside IR35)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00 (Every 3 weeks you will be on call overnight for a week)

Duration: 2 months plus
Start: Immediate
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a small manufacturing site in York to help with PPM and reactive maintenance activities on site. You will be part of a very small team, assisting with all activities that help the site run as efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities
* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on site
* Support a small team to ensure efficient site operation
* Assist with maintenance of listed machinery and equipment

* Press machines
* Steamers
* Mixers
* Conveyor systems
* Grinders
* Pneumatic sliders
Qualifications
Experience maintaining the listed machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role suits a candidate comfortable working in a small team and handling both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
