Job Summary
BGA is seeking a talented individual to develop and provide excellent service to both new and current customers. The Customer Service Advisor will work across various departments to maximize the distribution of the BGA brand and will cover the Customer Services Manager when needed. The ideal candidate should have a proactive problem-solving attitude, be a good multitasker, and eager to learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer all incoming telephone calls professionally during busy periods.
2. Make outgoing calls to customers regarding queries.
3. Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries via email and phone.
4. Input UK and Export orders through email, phone, and our electronic ordering system.
5. Manage and update customer accounts in our internal and WMS systems, including onboarding new accounts.
6. Manage the DPD dashboard daily.
7. Collaborate with UK and Export Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to promote the BGA brand.
8. Maintain and update CRM, Smartsheet, and generate reports using Power BI.
Training & Experience
Essential
* Experience with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* Experience in customer service or a telephone-based role.
* Excellent telephone manner.
Desirable
* Experience in the automotive aftermarket sector.
* Knowledge of CRM, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
Knowledge & Personal Skills
Essential
* Fluent in English.
* Highly motivated, confident, and enthusiastic.
* Strong team player with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
* Methodical and well-organized.
Desirable
* Fluent in French and/or German.
Additional Details
The role is based in our Swindon office.
Working hours: Part-time (9 am to 3 pm, Monday to Wednesday) or other flexible options available.
