Working alongside the Maintenance Operative, the Maintenance Support will help ensure the home is safe, secure and well maintained. You'll support with day-to-day repairs, compliance checks and ongoing upkeep, while collaborating with the wider team to maintain an environment where residents can feel comfortable and at ease.
The key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring the home is decorated and maintained to the highest standard, addressing snagging issues promptly.
* Carrying out minor repairs and plumbing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
* Managing the refuse area and ensuring the safe removal of clinical waste and rubbish.
* Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and boiler systems as required.
* Completing weekly, monthly and annual checks and tests on equipment and systems to ensure compliance and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a maintenance role.
* Competency in using Microsoft Office packages.
* Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
