We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Apprentice to join our nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. Full induction training is included.

With extensive outdoor provision, we our located on our own farm, we have our own chickens, views of the stunning South Downs National Park and our own forest school site, renovated farm cottages, outdoor classrooms and lots more.

Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
* Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery room
* Provide leadership and support to other staff members
* Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records
* To foster an environment in which the children are encouraged in their all-round development and where high standards of education are provided
* To assist in the planning of activities suitable for the age range of the children
* To work with colleagues in order to ensure that the room is clean, tidy and ready for use at the start of each session, particularly ensuring that the kitchen and food hygiene meets legal requirements
Requirements
* Experience working with children in a childcare setting
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to drive is desirable
* Strong organisational skills to manage daily activities effectively
