Role
Your role as a HGV Driver (Class 1)
Responsibilities
* Ensure all daily checks are undertaken in line with company standards and legislative requirements reporting any defects correctly.
* Complete all necessary paperwork on time and in full.
* Ensure all deliveries/collections are loaded correctly at temp and secure before leaving depots.
* Partake in pre & debrief process ensuring traffic office appraised of any required information regarding delays or accidents/incidents.
* Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner respecting other road users and protecting the reputation of the company.
* Ensure safe delivery & collection of goods minimising risk to self, colleague & public by following company processes.
* Observe Company rules, procedures, and policies at all times.
* Ensure that the work environment – units and trailers – are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
* Download tachograph card in line with company requirements.
* Friday to Monday (Days and Nights)
Qualifications
Who we are looking for: We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:
* Driver CPC qualification (or willingness to obtain, with our support).
* 2+ years of class 1 driving experience.
