Area Manager South – Riverdale Healthcare Location: Sites will be covering South East England. Your optimum week would look like: Based 3 days in Cambridge (Specialist Private practice) Based 1 day in Colchester (Mixed practices) 1 day remotely/home working Department: Operations Reporting to: Chief Operations Officer Right to work: Must have UK right to work We are now seeking an experienced and inspirational Area Manager to lead, develop and support a number of dental practices across our group. About the Role As an Area Manager, you will guide and empower Practice Managers and clinical teams across multiple sites, ensuring they have the tools, support and direction they need to succeed. You will connect local practices with our central support teams, champion our values, and ensure high standards in performance, compliance and patient experience. Drive financial performance across your practices, delivering revenue growth while managing costs effectively. Ensure full CQC compliance, maintaining “Good” or above ratings across all locations. Build strong relationships with support teams to deliver against operational KPIs. Proactively address underperformance with timely, effective solutions. Oversee recruitment, workforce planning, and retention to ensure optimal staffing levels. Champion patient experience by ensuring service quality, timely complaint resolution, and promoting Riverdale’s full range of treatments. Is this the role for you? Essential Experience leading and developing remote or multi-site teams. Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills. Commercially aware, with experience of managing budgets or P&L. Highly organised, calm under pressure, and able to prioritise effectively. Passionate about people development and continuous improvement. Willingness to travel across the UK, predominately south East. Our Support Office is based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, occasioanlly travel to this site and others will be required Desirable Experience within dentistry or healthcare.
