Teaching Assistants are required for an exciting opportunity to work with a Trust of Catholic schools in the Gateshead area which we are working with as a company.
Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant Qualification at Level 2 or higher.
You will be able to select your preference of short to medium term, or long term supply opportunities. This is a fantastic group of Catholic Schools with supportive and friendly staff and managers. As these schools have chosen to partner with us as a company, you can expect to be regularly booked and to be invited to CPD, get to know staff and pupils and feel part of the staff and valued.
The ideal teaching assistant candidate would:
1. Have good skills supporting the teaching and facilitating the learning of the children
2. Have a passion for supporting the learning of the children
3. Have excellent subject knowledge of the curriculum
4. Be able to organise themselves
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
