About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially KS5, helping students build strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. You will be expected to inspire pupils to engage with literature and language creatively while preparing them for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5 (where applicable)
* Assessing pupil progress and providing timely, constructive feedback
* Creating a positive classroom environment that fosters confidence, curiosity, and resilience
* Supporting pupils of varying abilities through differentiated learning strategies
* Contributing to departmental planning, curriculum development, and resource creation

Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
