HR Advisor / Executive Assistant To £28,000 Bonus Excellent Benefits Basingstoke We are looking for a bright, forward-thinking candidate who would be interested in joining a leading organisation fast paced, highly motivated HR Department. This is a split role, working as an EA for the Chairman / CEO, and also supporting the HR Team with various HR duties. This position is perfect for you if you have: Excellent People Skills Excellent communication skills - written and spoken. Are driven, hungry to learn, can take direction but also use your initiative. Are confident in your abilities to build relationships and become a trusted member of the company - with everyone from the MD and Director Teams to salespeople, cleaners, receptionists - everyone! You will be joining a great team and given responsibility for certain department's HR requirements. Training will be given so don't worry if you've not been exposed to any of the following, but your duties will include: Diary Management - including booking travel, scheduling meetings and ensuring the Chairman and CEO are well organised Compliance - Covering everything from; GDPR to legal compliance and everything in between. Recruitmen t - preparation of job descriptions, liaison with recruitment partners and candidates, managing the interview process and participating in interviews, preparation of Contract/Welcome packs and overseeing the onboarding process for joiners. Eligibility to Work/ID/Reference Checking & Vetting - ensure appropriate level of checks are undertaken to comply with internal policy and legislation. Absence Management - ensuring accurate attendance/absence data is recorded and managed with the Business Managers as appropriate and data is available for payroll purposes within the agreed deadlines. Performance Management - supporting the Business Unit Heads with attendance at and recording of performance reviews as required. Assisting with development initiatives, creation of job descriptions, KPIs and auditing of training records. Documentation & HR Records - preparation of letters and documents to capture changes to employment Ts&Cs, disciplinary action, training commitments and events. Ensure full and detailed personnel records are routinely updated and maintained. Social and Engagement initiatives - developing and delivering creative company-wide social activities, including inspirational/motivational guest speaker events. Mobile phones - purchasing and control of equipment and ensuring mobile phone (allocation/cost) records are regularly updated. Office/Facilities/Security - ad-hoc involvement to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient running of business premises and to protect the health, safety and welfare of personnel and the security of Company assets. This may involve Fire Warden and potentially First Aider duties. This is a busy, dual role working as part of dynamic HR Team and for a highly inspirational CEO and Chairman. It will suit you, if you are motivated with a passion for HR, the ability to deal with people at all levels and to be assertive where required and diplomatic and sensitive where the situation requires. Attitude, ability to learn and teamwork is everything.
