Are you a caring, proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Basildon? We are seeking a dedicated TA to work within classrooms and on a 1:1 basis with pupils who may need additional support with learning, confidence or daily routines.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your duties may include:
* Providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
* Supporting class teachers with planning and delivering engaging activities
* Helping to create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
* Assisting with small-group interventions where needed
* Monitoring pupil progress and offering feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
* Encouraging independence, resilience, and positive learning habits

* HLTA qualification welcome but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
