*About us*We are a small family run independant garage located in Ardrossan.Duties:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe operating condition- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with power tools and equipmentRequirements:- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools- Experience working as a mechanic or in a related field preferred- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectivelyNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
