A leading (re)insurer experiencing rapid growth is looking for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join their London IT team. This is a business that moves fast, with technology central to everything they do. The Role
You'll join a close-knit, high-performing service desk supporting a demanding London Market user base. The role covers both BAU and project-related work, spanning 1st and 2nd line responsibilities. Expect variety, pace, and daily interaction with senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering 1st and 2nd line support to users across all levels of seniority
* Supporting collaboration tools (Teams, WebEx, O365, AV, and telephony)
* Managing joiners, movers, and leavers processes
* Mobile device management (MDM/MAM)
* Escalation, incident, and change management support
* Providing structured updates and feedback to senior IT and business leaders
Skills & Experience
* Proven service desk experience within financial services or insurance
* Strong technical skills across Windows 10, O365, Active Directory, Exchange Online
* Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
* Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Mimecast, and TeamViewer
* Confident communicator with a proactive and delivery-focused mindset
* Comfortable working full-time on-site in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture
