Are you an experienced Band 5 Nurse looking for the next step in your career or a current Band 6 looking for a fresh challenge as a Mental Health Liaison Practitioner in Central Manchester? We have an opportunity for you to be part of fast‑growing and developing services. In line with the Five Year Forward Plan for Mental Health and an exciting transformation programme of services, we are expanding our existing hospital liaison services.
Main Duties
* Work with a multidisciplinary team within our CORE 24 Liaison Mental Health services to provide responsive mental health care in acute hospital and A&E settings.
* Deliver comprehensive person‑centred assessments, advice, direct interventions and onward care planning to people of a range of ages and needs.
* Support the development of mental health professionals by building on existing experience and knowledge and engaging with research and service development agendas.
* Provide high‑quality care flexibly across 24/7 service hours to bridge the gap between physical and mental health care.

Person Specification
* Essential Qualifications: RMN or equivalent social work qualification
* Desirable Qualifications: Degree or above, or willingness to work towards one
* Essential Experience: Demonstrable experience in mental health practice
* Desirable Experience: Liaison experience and experience of urgent care settings
