Vacancy Description
Role and responsibilities will include:
1. Manage a caseload of clients, with appropriate support, to provide a range of information, advice, support and advocacy to improve outcomes for service users
2. Manage the client caseload in line with relevant legislation, quality standards and best practice
3. Coordinate delivery and activities for service users to meet their needs and to improve education, employment and training outcomes
4. Undertake accurate and timely recording to ensure the safety of the organisation and our clients
5. Maintain strong relationships with partners to improve outcomes for clients
6. Apply co-production principles to ensure the user's voice is represented
7. Apply the consistent application of all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health & safety, and equality & diversity, to ensure a compliant service
8. Undertake any other duties to meet service and organisational objectives, following consultation with your manager
9. To undertake an Employability Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship
10. Undertake apprenticeship training to provide a range of career guidance and support services for young people and/or adults

The Careers and Education Directorate works with young people both pre and post 16, delivering career guidance in schools and working with those young people post 16 who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) by providing a combination of careers guidance and practical support including mentoring, coaching, and transition support.

* Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeships English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3
* Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training
* Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge, skills, and behaviours to progress and develop
* Identify, track, and support 6 hours of off-the-job training activities
* Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps
