Main duties of the job
The band 5 rotation offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across various areas and throughout the patient journey, helping you develop as a confident and competent qualified practitioner. Each rotation lasts 6 months, providing experience with diverse conditions and opportunities to apply theory in practice within the OT process.
We seek motivated, innovative practitioners with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. We will support your development through a supportive learning environment, a well-established training and development programme, a comprehensive preceptorship, and an Occupational Therapy Development Lead for support during your transition from student to qualified practitioner. Regular supervision, appraisals, and peer forums are also provided.
You will have full support to develop your occupational therapy and inter-professional clinical skills, including areas of special clinical interest.
