What is the job role?
We are recruiting a qualified Social Worker to work within our Mental Health Team in Coventry.
You will be supporting people who are living with a range of mental health challenges including psychosis, mood and personality disorders, dementia and self-harming behaviours.
The Teams work towards specific interventions embracing strength-based recovery practices, Safeguarding, The Care Act, Mental Health and Mental Capacity Acts. The Teams are fully Multi-Disciplinary, incorporating Community Mental Health Nurses, Approved Mental Health Professionals, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Peer Support Workers and Clerical Staff.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
