The firm is seeking an experienced Employment Partner to join its Cheltenham office to further develop and lead work advising clients across the Education and Charities sectors.
The Employment team is deeply embedded within the sector and, in addition to supporting more than 400 educational establishments, advises key sector organisations on topical and strategic issues affecting schools, colleges and charities. This appointment represents a key strategic hire as the firm continues to strengthen its offering in these sectors.
Key Skills and Experience
An experienced Employment lawyer with a strong background in both contentious and non contentious matters, ideally gained within a highly regarded Employment practice.
A proven track record of advising education providers, charities or public sector organisations, or a demonstrable interest in developing a practice in these sectors.
Strong academic background and intellectual capability.
Excellent legal skills including meticulous attention to detail in drafting and a genuine understanding of client needs.
Commercial awareness with the ability to think laterally and identify related legal and strategic issues.
A confident and professional manner with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor and support the development of colleagues within the team.
