Your new role
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee night‑shift operations across multiple sites between the Welsh border and South Lancashire. You will be responsible for managing teams on live highways, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.Your duties will include:
Supervising drainage works and general highways/plant activities
Managing teams within lane closures and high‑speed motorway environments
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards and site documentation
Completing shift reports, near‑miss reporting and escalating issues appropriately
Coordinating with internal and external contacts to resolve on‑site challenges
Supporting planning, sequencing and safe delivery of works
Promoting a professional, engaged and positive team culture
What you'll need to succeed
SSSTS certification (essential)
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience on highways projects
Experience working on motorways, including lane closures and traffic‑managed areas
Strong understanding of drainage works
Confident managing teams and enforcing safety standards
Ability to work nights (6pm-6am) with flexibility across a 5/7 pattern
Full UK driving licence
Professional, proactive and able to communicate clearly under pressure.
