Key Responsibilities
* Perform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and facility systems.
* Ensure compliance with state electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
* Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure efficient equipment performance.
* Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and compliance activities.
* Respond to emergencies and provide technical expertise to resolve electrical issues.
Qualifications
* Valid North Carolina Electrical License (required).
* Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food manufacturing).
* Strong knowledge of NEC codes, safety regulations, and GMP compliance.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with automated systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
* Knowledge of cleanroom and controlled environment requirements.
* Familiarity with validation and documentation practices in regulated industries.
