The Systems Engineering team underpins our integrated digital design framework, enabling a coherent and traceable model of the entire power station. We lead on systems thinking, model‑based systems engineering and requirements management, ensuring alignment across disciplines and shaping how our next-generation SMR design comes together. We are looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to embed systems engineering methods, support MBSE adoption and influence the integrated design of the Rolls‑Royce SMR power station. This role offers broad exposure across multiple design areas and the chance to shape both the digital design environment and the power station architecture. Key Deliverables We’ll need you to: Apply systems engineering approaches to strengthen integration, traceability and design coherence. Lead requirements management, interface coordination and system‑level alignment. Support the development and deployment of MBSE toolsets and methods. Build strong relationships across engineering functions to support delivery of an integrated plant design. This is a dynamic, cross‑cutting role where you’ll bring first‑class communication, systems thinking and integration skills to influence design maturity across a growing engineering programme. Essential Skills / Qualifications Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline. Experience in systems engineering, requirements management, interface management or MBSE within complex programmes. Ability to work across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. We’ll ask about your experience applying systems engineering to shape integrated solutions and improve design process maturity. Location Hybrid working with regular attendance at our Derby, Manchester or Warrington offices, depending on business need. What’s in it for you?
