About the Role
Based within the Environmental Health and Housing Team, this internship supports a wide range of frontline regulatory activity. You’ll work closely with services that protect public health, improve housing standards, address environmental issues, and ensure highways are safe and accessible.

* Gathering evidence, preparing case files, and supporting enforcement action where required.
* Processing licence applications, issuing notices and documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
* Acting as a visible presence in the community—responding to service requests, carrying out site visits, and working with residents, businesses, and partner agencies.
* Supporting projects that aim to improve neighbourhoods, living conditions, and community wellbeing.
