Paper Moon Day Nursery in Gamston is a well-established 70-place setting, dedicated to providing exceptional childcare and early years education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
* Promote and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring its principles are embedded throughout the setting.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in your care at all times.
* Take an active role in planning, monitoring, and evaluating the nursery's performance.
* Implement and uphold nursery policies and procedures in line with statutory guidelines and best practice.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery team.
* Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the SENCO role.
What We're Looking For:
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
* Post-qualification experience in a full day care setting.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years environment.
* A track record of supporting and developing staff to improve practice.
* Confidence in using IT systems and managing administrative tasks.
* A higher-level qualification in Early Years/Childhood Studies is desirable, though not essential.
