Role

Job Title: Lead Clinician – Psychotherapist

Location: Orchard Manor School, Norfolk PE34 3HT

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle


Responsibilities

Lead and manage the in-house Clinical Team at Orchard Manor School, working in collaboration with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. Balance clinical leadership with maintaining a therapy caseload. Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils who may present with complex profiles of need linked to autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Align work with EHCP targets using OFG’s all/group/individual clinical approaches. Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members and lead the service development of the school-based clinical service alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Maintain a person-centred, empowering approach and safeguard-focused practice. Contribute to outcomes-focused service delivery and ongoing improvement of the clinical school-based service.


Qualifications

* Degree qualification in a specific discipline; at least 5 years’ experience as a clinician with leadership and managerial experience
* Valid professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience within the specialist client group, working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently and adapt to a growing and developing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty (preferred)
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
