SEND Primary Teacher – Specialist School
Location - Winchester
Pay - £160–£250 per day
Contact times- Full-time (08:30–15:30)

Supply Desk are seeking an SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist school in the Winchester area. The school is well respected within the area for supporting children with a range of needs through creative and engaging tasks that are specifically tailored to ensure pupils’ success.
The Role
Teach a small class of children with additional learning and physical needs (approx. 8 pupils).
Deliver Maths, English, Phonics, alongside social and life skills.
Support pupils in achieving personalised SEMH and academic targets.
Full-time position, with the option of a permanent contract.
Job share (3–4 days per week) will be considered.
Candidate Profile
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) required.
Previous experience in SEND (essential).
Strong knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
Confident in behaviour and classroom management.
Resilient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
Experience in targeted interventions (preferred).
