At i-teachers we are currently working with a school on the Wirral who are looking for a SEMH Science Teacher to join the team.
SEMH Science Teacher – The School :
* A specialised educational provision on the Wirral, serving students at risk of exclusion or those already excluded from mainstream education, including those with Special Educational Needs, diagnosed or otherwise
* Situated within a supportive and inclusive community setting
* Offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to address academic, emotional, and behavioural requirements
* Places a strong emphasis on fostering resilience, self-confidence, and interpersonal skills
* Implements positive behaviour management strategies to cultivate a safe and nurturing learning environment
* Demonstrates a proven track record of effectively reintegrating students into mainstream education or facilitating their transition to further education or employment
SEMH Science Teacher – Pre-Requisites:
* QTS required
* Must hold a degree in an Science-related subject from a British University
* Understanding of the GCSE curriculum and mark schemes
* Displays patience and fosters a nurturing approach
* Maintains a professional demeanor while balancing confidence and sociability
* Possesses strong classroom management capabilities
SEMH Science Teacher – The Role:
* Full-time position as an SEMH Science Teacher offering a competitive annual salary ranging from £32,000 to £46,252 + TLR (varying)
* You will assume the role of an SEMH Science Teacher, addressing the diverse needs of disengaged pupils to facilitate their reintegration into education.
* Establishing a safe and supportive learning atmosphere, free from stigma or negativity, is of utmost importance
* Deliver exceptional lessons and offer personalised feedback to both groups and individuals
* Effectively manage student behaviour, employing positive reinforcement strategies when necessary
* Demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission and values, promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and academic progress
